Start-up operations are underway for the new ERTG cranes

21 new electric yard cranes have all been unloaded and transferred to a dedicated area of the sixth module, where start-up operations have begun.
In particular, the first phase involves repositioning one of the legs in the service position. This is due to the specific conformation used for transportation, known as “shift legging”, for which one crane leg has been moved inwards by approximately ten meters to allow many more units to be accommodated on board, as many as twenty-one, in this case.
